WALKING ON SUNSHINE

I get it.  A blog is supposed to be timely. It's supposed to be about stuff that's happening "now." I don't seem to be able to manage that.  Yet.  But it's good to have goals.  Anyway, as I sit at my desk and watch the snowflakes falling outside my window, I think back to the wonderful sun-soaked days I spent on the beach in Naples just a week ago.  There is no shortage of scenic flora and fauna in the sunshine state and my family was (somewhat) patient with me as I dragged them to several wildlife refuges.  Among them, J.N. "Ding" Darling and Big Cypress were my favorites.  

 

ROCK YOUR WORLD

Trekked out to Sachuest Point a few weeks ago with the South Shore Camera Club in search of Harlequin Ducks and other wildlife.  The ducks were few and far between but rest of the rocky landscape was quite beautiful.  

FROZEN

Baby it's cold outside but if you can stand it, you can find a lot of beauty in snow and ice.  All of these images were taken in and around World's End.

BROTHERLY LOVE

There was something different about Thomas when I photographed him for the second time.  Yes, he had a lot more hair and yes, he was a lot taller.  But that wasn't it.  What was it?  Older, more responsible...he had become a big brother!  Thomas and his mom and dad welcomed baby Connor and all were doing great.  I look forward to seeing the inevitable changes in Connor over the next few months and lucky for him, Thomas will be alongside to show him the ropes.

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

There's no better time for a family photo than the holidays.  Had a great time photographing the Bradley family the day after Thanksgiving.  Baby Maeve was the star of the show but the rest of the family did great in their supporting roles.

MAKING BEAUTIFUL MUSIC

Traveled to the North Shore last month to photograph newly engaged couple Sandy and Tim.  Cold weather kept us local but there was no lack of charm with these two.  Best of luck guys!

PUPPY LOVE

My grand dog Blitz and I have a love/hate relationship.  He loves me...
But today I had the brilliant idea to channel my energy in a positive direction by photographing him in his natural environment; full speed ahead.  Good boy!
